The Client Bambino Agro Industries Limited was established in 1982, making it one of the oldest and largest vermicelli producers in South East Asia. It is part of the diversified Bambino Group who has not only pioneered and introduced vermicelli in India, but has become a market leader, making Bambino a household name globally. The Challenge While building their social media presence in a short period we had to create a buzz for their ‘Let’s meet Akhil’ co-branding campaign with young actor Akhil Akkineni to drive high number of signups for the contest through digital forums. The Solution Building a microsite for the contest giving all the details while using social platforms such as facebook, instagram and twitter effectively to reach out to wide audiences from Hyderabad and Vijayawada targeting TFI fans, Akkineni family fans, Akkineni Nagarjuna fans, food related followers and the loyal bambino customer base.  Strategy  1 We built a microsite for the promotion of ‘Let’s meet Akhil’ contest. Building their social presence on facebook, twitter, instagram, youtube.  2 We strategised our ad promotions to increase the number of views to all telugu homes and designed creative youth centric ads to attract youngsters, especially girls, considering that the contest was channeled to meet the young heart throb Akhil.  3 Showcasing all bambino products, recipes, activities done over the years creating a strong brand identity. Actioned retweets and reposts on official Akhil Akkineni profiles for wider reach.
